Photography class 101...here I come

Wanted to post some new pictures up. We got a new camera & honestly, I think I need to sign up for a photography class in the Fall! Ha.

Here are a few stats. Lilly went to the doctor for her 3 year check up & walked out healthy as can be! She is 30lbs (thought she weighed more), exactly 3 feet tall, which will be great for the Disney World rides. Here we come Mickey Mouse- see you June 4!!! Back to the doctor appointment, Lilly does still have a very, very narrow foot. We now insert three shoe inserts, yes 3!!! This will prevent her heel from slipping out, along with developing blisters. I must say, the I Spy game is on for shoes!!!! Dr. LaCour stated we don't need to go see any specialists, before he sees Lilly first. So demanding!! Ha! We have a couple specialist appointments already, like with her ENT, dermatologist, & her opthomologist. These are just check ups from her previous surgeries. It was so nice to think we are over the hill of specialists!! We have made a huge improvement...9 to 3!!!! Whoohooo! For height, Lilly is a little shorter than I had hoped. She is averaging out between 5'4-5'6ft tall. I was really pushing for her height like the boys...around 6'ft. Okay, well maybe not that tall, but somewhere close to mine- 5'9. I guess she is going to really start practicing with her setting skills. Ha! I hope she will be a volleyball player like her Mommy & Daddy!!!! Lilly did have to get a follow up of blood work done, & everything looked great! Lilly didn't even shed a tear to the poke of the needle- tough cookie!!! She said, "Mommy I didn't even cry. I am tough like Bryce & Brock." I was thinking to myself, yes you are tough Lilly, but your brothers pitch a fit everytime they see a needle. Seriously, the boys are just like Shane. They see their life flash before their eyes & get pale white when they come into contact with a needle. Lilly is just like me in those aspects. She has a high pain tolerance & finds it fascinating how the mechanics work.

On Lilly's actual birthday we took her to Build A Bear. Her & her brothers all built a special animal that they have yet touched since we got home!! HA! Then, we proceeded the following day with lots more parties (we had a total of 12)! I told the kids to pick & choose, because Mommy & Daddy were not stressing about making it to all of these- IMPOSSIBLE!!!! So, Lilly & I went to her parties, and Shane took the boys to theirs. Shane & I are so multi taskful! On Sunday, we had Lilly's party at Cypress Academy. It was great to see her interact with all her little school friends. At first they stared at each other, like what are you doing here. I only see you at school, but then they were running around & talking to each other. It was so cute! Lilly & everyone had a great time. How can you not...it's not at the house, they entertain & the kids are exhausted when they get home. That is my ideal kids party!

Here is Lilly next to her mermaid cake.
